![]() ![]() While at U.D., he served as a legal intern for the Law Department at the City of Middletown.īefore taking the Bench, he served on numerous boards and committees in the community including: Middletown Civil Service Commission, from 2008 to 2017, including service as Vice Chair and Chair Butler Metropolitan Housing Authority Board of Trustees from 2007 to 2017, including service as Vice Chair and Chair Miami Conservancy District, Board of Appraisers, 1998 to 2017, including service as Vice Chair Middletown Historic Commission, from 2006 to 2017, including service as Vice Chair. He graduated from Miami University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received his law degree from the University of Dayton, College of Law in 1986. Married for over thirty years, with three adult children, Judge Sherron, a third generation Middletown native, graduated from Middletown High School in 1978. In 2006 he began serving as acting Judge and Magistrate in Middletown Municipal Court and, in 2012, as acting Magistrate in Trenton Mayor’s Court. He was the law director for the City of Trenton in 2017 until taking the bench in Middletown. ![]() He has also served as prosecutor for the cities of Hamilton and Trenton and as an acting prosecutor for the City of Middletown. He served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Butler County, Ohio from 1987 until 2002 in several different divisions. During those years he developed extensive civil and criminal case experience, representing thousands of clients in Middletown Municipal Court and the surrounding courts in Butler, Warren and Preble Counties. He maintained his office in Middletown for over thirty one years until becoming Judge. Judge Sherron was admitted to the practice of law in November, 1986 and opened his solo private practice in Middletown that same year. Sherron was elected Judge of the Middletown Municipal Court on Novemand began serving on the bench on December 19, 2017. ![]()
